Q-FENCE Participates in the Privacy Symposium 2026
Venice, Italy – April 2026
The Q-FENCE project was represented at the Privacy Symposium 2026 from April 20-24 2026, through the participation of project partners Mandat International and IoT Lab, who joined leading experts, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the future of privacy, data governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
Bringing together more than 400 high-level authorities and experts across over 100 sessions, the Privacy Symposium serves as an important international platform for exchanging knowledge and fostering collaboration on the evolving challenges of digital technologies and data protection.
In addition to participating in the conference programme, the Q-FENCE consortium hosted an exhibition booth, where the project was presented to attendees and dissemination materials were shared. This provided an opportunity to engage directly with researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and other stakeholders, raising awareness of the project’s objectives and fostering discussions on the importance of quantum-safe cybersecurity.
Q-FENCE’s participation reflects the project’s commitment to engaging with the wider cybersecurity and privacy community while contributing to discussions on the transition towards quantum-safe digital security. As quantum technologies continue to develop, ensuring resilient and future-proof cybersecurity solutions remains a key priority for Europe.
The insights gained during the event, together with the exchanges held at the Q-FENCE exhibition booth, will help support the project’s ongoing work in advancing quantum-resistant cryptography and strengthening cybersecurity awareness and preparedness across Europe.
